Badrinath Trip Badrinath Badrinath – is a combination of two words Badri + Nath. Badri is a Sanskrit word which means berry ( a type of jungle fruit) and Nath refers to the owner. According to Hindu religion Lord Vishnu had meditated under Badri tree so the place got the name Badrinath. It is in the Chamoli district.As per Skanda Puran – “there are several sacred shrines in heaven, on earth, and in hell, but there is no shrine like Badrinath”. Thousands of pilgrims visit this holy place every year and it is one of the ‘Dhams’ (a center for pilgrimage) in the popular char Dham yatra. Day - 01 November 15, 2019, It was a chilly morning a thin sheet of fog wandering around the environment. At 07 o clock, we all came to the office and meet with sir and his family.
